lemon mousse by nyt cooking

Whipped up this mouse in just a few hours and it was an instant hit! I highly recommend for a dinner party because it can be made ahead.

I followed the recipe, but I cut everything in half. The original recipe is written for 18 servings, and there is no reason why our household of 2 needs that much mousse.

I paired the mouse with candied lemons that I cooked in a habanero honey we just received from our recent trip to Julian. AND YUMMM!

Lemon Mousse for a Crowd recipe can be found at the nyt cooking.

Would I make again?

Yes, but I would make the serving sizes half as big. I would just love this as a dollop on the side of a not so sweet dessert. I found the mouse to feel like liquid sugar.
