sourdough discard donuts by bryan ford

All sourdough bakers have at one point in time thought about using their sourdough discard for another recipe at one point in time or another. And to be honest, that sourdough tang is welcome in any baked good in our house.

To level up my donuts, I decided to do them a couple different ways:

  • glazed

  • cinnamon sugar

  • cinnamon sugar donuts filled with mango custard

Would I make these again?

YES! However, I think I will wait until I can have a group over. These would make a great breakfast treat, or a dessert. Homemade donuts are always showstopper.
