hot cocoa bombs

I had to try the latest craze. Hot Cocoa Bombs. Chocolate delights that when emerged in steamed milk, reveal hot cocoa mix and marshmallows.

ingredients

• 1 cup of 70% cocoa

• hot cocoa mix of choice

• homemade marshmallows. I recommend making your own, and cutting into shapes to match the season.

ingredients to enjoy

• 1 cup milk or water for hot chocolate

• 1 hot cocoa bomb

steps to make

1. temper chocolate using a double boiler.

2. line molds with tempered chocolate. Wait 10 minutes for it to cool/set.

3. fill. Scoop hot cocoa mix for one serving and marshmallows into one side of mold.

4. heat pan. grab top of mold and gently melt the rim to attach to the other side.

1. steam milk or hot chocolate liquid of choice

Would I make this again?

Yep! They are a fun surprise.

I will say that our electric frother makes a better cup of hot cocoa. But the frother doesn’t have the pazzaz as a hot cocoa bomb.
